Biking Europe is the gateway for Holiday Cycling Professionals at European level.

No fewer than 30 countries are therefore accessible to you in a single "Virtual Boutique".
In a few clicks, you will be able to find a complete package for holiday cycling professionals in each of the partner countries.

A UNIQUE offer in EUROPE !

There are more than 500 travel deals, cycling breaks and circuits, solo or guided, offered to you.

Why a network ?

- To simplify the search for future tourists
It is just as much about searching for clients as about making the entire European offer accessible from a single site! From one year to the next, our clients are satisfied to have the opportunity to explore alternative horizons, other cultures, different scenery, at the same time maintaining the serene rhythm associated with exploring a country or a region by bicycle.
- To provide users with a guarantee of service :
Collectively, we want to provide a quality service to tourists in search of an "organised" adventure and guaranteeing a standard of service that is as consistent as possible. Certainly each country has its own unique features and the standard of service is not always comparable. However, we wanted to guarantee tourists the best quality of service available in the country of their choice.

What are the benefits for travellers ?

Holidays are too precious to be left to chance !

The first benefit of our network for tourists is ease of access to a single offer, very varied by nature. We want to offer the largest choice of cycling trips in Europe in a single virtual site : the "Biking-Europe.com" website !
The second benefit is the multiplicity of choices, which must allow each surfer to pursue his quest for the perfect holiday in complete serenity, by simplifying his search and by making the selection of the provider a less chancy affair.
Biking Europe - first of all, this is the choice of sharing common values made mutually by professionals, which is a token of sincerity.
The quality and variety of the tourist routes and the standard of services offered are at the heart of the choice of the partners present in this site.

Is this sporting cycling ?

NO ! This is HOLIDAY CYCLING before everything else !
By choice, the trips offered in this site are accessible to the public at large !
Certainly the regular cyclist will find something that will meet his needs. There are even circuits judged difficult. However, and this is very important for us, the great majority of the circuits are accessible to anyone who is simply an occasional cyclist.
Some circuits are suitable for families with children as young as 5 (or even younger for those who are using infant trailers). All the information on the degree of difficulty is given in the trip offer by each of our network’s partners.
Sporting cyclists also have the chance to find holidays which will suit them in the proposed programs.

Don’t forget this general principle, which drives our concept : Cycling for everyone !

Are the routes guided or solo ?

All options are offered !
From the solo circuit to the circuit accompanied by a guide, in pairs or as a group for those who want it, everything is possible ! The services which our partners provide also have the sole aim of making life easy: baggage transported between hotels in the great majority of cases, technical assistance if needed, bicycles in perfect working order. The details of these services appear on each of the products for the countries visited.
Choose from among the 500 trips which appear in this site! The diversity of our offer should allow each person to find his ideal trip!

Visit this website as often as you want and recommend it to your friends !

Is baggage transport provided for ?

Yes, baggage transport is included in the proposed services in almost every case. (If baggage transport is not included, then you will be told!). For precise information on this point, we invite you to view the data sheets for each program and these describe what is included and what is not included in the package deal.

- Who transports the baggage each day ?
The hoteliers or taxi companies or the Tour Operator handle the transport of baggage to the next hotel. (unless this is expressly stated as "service not included".).

- When must we deposit our baggage for its transport ?
In general, baggage must be deposited at the hotel reception before 10a.m., labelled with the baggage tickets supplied in the trip guide handed out on the first day. (Baggage transport is organised between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.)

Who can do the holiday trails ?

There is no need to be an accomplished sporting cyclist to make this type of trip. Any normal healthy person can do 20 to 40 km on a bicycle in a day! The aim is not to accomplish a sporting feat - rather, it is to benefit from the joys of an open air activity, at the same time exploring the countryside and sites of interest to a tourist. You will have time to wander and to organise the days at your own pace.
No restrictions are imposed on you, unless it is to book in to your hotel for a good dinner and night’s rest before contemplating new adventures and discoveries for the following day.
For the record, most people can manage 15 km/h on a circuit graded as easy!
We also have more demanding routes for the most sporting (50 to 80 km per day!)

All our partners offer you several types of accommodation, from a 4* hotel to camping, with bed and breakfast in between. We make it our priority to look for places which offer a warm welcome and high quality meals and services.

- When can we arrive at the hotel ?
Hotel rooms are generally available from about 3 p.m. Rooms must be vacated before 12 noon on the day of departure.

Bicycles

- Where and when are leased bicycles delivered ?
In general, at the hotel where you arrive, but this will be confirmed to you before your departure by our service provider, who will have put together the break of your choice just for you.

- What sort of bicycles are leased ?
We invite you to look at our partners’ websites on your chosen destination. In general, the cycles provided are Hybrid All-Road Bikes (VTC- 21 speeds). In some countries, the circuits booked assume that you are using Mountain Bikes instead of VTC.

- How can I be sure that I have a leased bike that is adjusted correctly to my height ?
At the time you make your reservation, we will ask you to state your height so that we can inform the cycle professional in order that he can adjust your bicycle appropriately for your comfort.

- Do you offer extra accessories for the bikes ?
Yes ! On request, we can supply you with various accessories such as :
• a bike trailer for a child
• a trailer for a baby or a child up to 25 kg in weight
• a meter
• etc.
Please contact your trip organiser to establish availability and rental prices.

Other questions

During the trip

- What is the average duration of a stage ?
You must assume, for learner riders, an average of 10 km/h by bike for a route of average difficulty and up to 15km/h on a circuit graded "easy". Each trip provider will inform you of contact and help arrangements during the trip.

By reserving our trips, we offer you the tranquillity of a journey organised down to the last detail.
Before your departure, we will have arranged your hotel reservations, organised the baggage transport (unless you have been informed that this service is not included in the price!) and prepared detailed, mapped itineraries for you.
Once you have arrived :
- if you have chosen an unguided trip : you will be at leisure to prepare your daily itinerary, in complete freedom and at your own pace. You are free to organise your day, making the stops of your choice, thus allowing you to visit the various sites suggested along your route as your own interests dictate (culture, eating out, vineyards, architecture, gardens, etc.).

Any more questions ?

Don’t hesitate to ask your trip organiser and make him explain in detail anything you have not understood.
